These Pre-Insulated Sleeves are used to link together LV insulated overhead lines.
Descriptions:
The sleeve is composed of:
- An aluminium (phase) or aluminium alloy
(neutral) sleeve with a stop in the middle.
- A black thermoplastic sealed
With a flexible elastomer ring.

The aluminium against oxydation.

According to the marks on the body of the sleeves.

- They are water resistant and pass the
Dieletric test of 6 kV in water.

- 50% of the mechanical phase
Breaking load.
- 100 % of the mechanical neutral
Messenger breaking load.
- 80% of the conductor load in the self
Supporting version (M type Alus)
- A color code permits to check easily
